Future Land Buyout Plan Implies Positive China Ppty Mkt

Getting lost amid hoopla about Sunac (1918)-Wanda mega-deal is proposed privatization of Future Land (1030), which came despite share having surged 77% year-to-date. You don't have to do the math to figure out then major holder's positive view on China real estate market. Same day, CIFI (0884) issued positive earnings guidance, Sunac's Sun said the developer would achieve a sales of CNY30 billion this year, vs official sales target of CNY21 billion stated earlier this year. Given 1H17 actural sales of CNY11 billion, this implies monthly sales of CNY3 billion in 2H17.

Sunac +6.5% at HK$15.76, CIFI +4.9% at HK$3.65, Aoyuan +3.8%, Greentown +3.4%, Yuzhou +2.2%.
