I'm going to avoid talking about Cavs/Celtics because of the horrific injury to Gordon Hayward.

Onto Rockets game.

While Chris Paul had a sub-par game stat-wise (four points on 2-of-9 shooting, eight rebounds and 11 assists ) and was a crunch-time spectator, he drew two or three early fouls on Steph Curry in the first and second quarter and messed up Warriors' rotations.

Eric Gordon looked fresh and springy. He attacked baskets aggressively. His scoring punch off the bench will be crucial to a successful Rockets season.

Swaggy P was on 🔥🔥🔥, Rockets probably didn't account for that kind of production from him.

Rockets barely pulled it out, but a win is a win. I'm even more confident now 55.5 over/under is a joke.

Despite the win, and despite I'm obviously a Rockets fan, it looked Warriors beat themselves to a certain degree, so Rockets shouldn't get ahead of themselves. In order to truly compete for a title, they need to continue improving. IT'S ONLY 1 OUT OF 82.
